The contractor has been busy! And he's uncovered a few surprises! Kathy tells me that she kept hearing - coming from downstairs - "What is that there for? Why did they do it that way?" He's exposed all of the wiring in the ceiling and it all needs redoing. The wires run to junction boxes, and then to light switches, back to the junction box, and then to the fixtures - or something like that.
Bottom line is, the surprises aren't all that big, and he's plugging right along!

Wow, Pa... It's nice to see things are progressing right along, but ouch... ALL the wiring has to be redone? What does that say about the rest of the house?
